The Keepin’ it Rural Festival:
Whether you are doing the 5K or 10K or not, come down to the festival where there will be lots of activities for both adults and kids.
Live Band: This year we will have a great local rock and blues band, Rat Motor, whose specialty includes Stones covers and other great classic rock. The band is donating their time and Labrum Wealth Management is providing the logistics and generator for the band!
Food and Drink: There will be a wide assortment of food and drink vendors including a food truck, coffee and pastries courtesy of CafeStoked among other choices. All vendors will be contributing between 10-50% of their sales to the “Keepin it Rural” fund. Last year’s vendors included:
— CafeStoked coffee shop gourmet coffee and pastries (10% proceeds share)
— Craft Beer Garden featuring Alesmith and Stone Brewery beers (100% proceeds to Keepin’ it Rural fund)
— Protein Bars (courtesy of Detour), snacks and more.
— Vendors and products are TBD.
It’s 5:00 somewhere: There will be craft beer courtesy of local craft breweries, Alesmith and Stone Brewery (must have ID and be over 21 to purchase alcohol). Craft Beer brands subject to change.
Kids Entertainment: In addition to a 1K Kids fun run, there will also be assorted carnival games that kids can play for entertainment and prizes as well as giveaways for kids.
Expo: Browse the various vendors including complimentary massages courtesy of sport masseur of the pros, Ernie Villanueva.
